THE MAGICIAN THE HIGH PRIESTESS

This pack is the reproduction of “Egyptian Tarot”, realized in the beginning of 1900 by Gabriel Goulinat, a french draftsman.

THE EMPRESS THE EMPEROR

Illustrations has been realized following Dott. Gerard Encausse’s suggestions (1865-1910), better known under Papus pseudonymous, one of the most famous modern occultists.

THE CHARIOT JUSTICE

In the beginning they were 78 plates fit in Le Tarot Divinatoire (Paris, 1909); the most significant figures are the 22 Major Arcana, not only because the 56 Minor Arcana had been copied from an existing pack, the so called “Book of Thoth” burnt in Paris in the end of 1700 by the famous fortune-teller Etteilla.

THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE STRENGHT

The 22 Major Arcana are considered by esoterism scholars the “archetypes of creation”, that is symbolic representation of the 22 letters of divine alphabet, from which everything and every living being was born.

THE HANGED MAN DEATH

Figures’ graphics continues “Egyptian Tarot” fashion, that begun a century before, but this version, pondered by the french esoterist for a long time, was absolutely unpublished. Papus Tarots inspirated a lot of draftsmen, who often totally twisted the original features.

THE MOON THE SUN

Cosimo Musio’s interpretation did not remove the veil of mistery that sorrounded the original drawings, but added to them the value of rare and fine art.
